About Me - Jack Rorvik (and Genny)
I have been developing full stack web applications for almost 20 years now.
In that time I have worked with a lof of awesome and not so great developers.
I have worked on many different tech stacks in a variety of architectures. (or lack of it)
Over all these years I have picked up a few things around what to do and what not to do.
Genny has a lot of these benefits and highly opinionated best practices that I have accumulated over all these years.
With Genny you will get these out of the box set up for you.
If you don't like them, it's very easy to just remove them.
The whole point of Genny is to help you speed up your development and help enforce best practices.
Another idea with Genny is to speed up adding common features that most projects need.
Currently you get a few by default when you create a new projects/solution.
Down the track the plan is to make it easy for you add in more optional features when you need it.
At the end of the day, the vision of Genny is to improve the lives of software developers.
I want to make every developer a lot more efficient and for developers to work on the fun stuff.
Like designing solutions and database schemas.
Not coding boring CRUD code all day.
